RIDER ALERTS
When travelling during inclement weather, please plan ahead. If you are making connections, please contact your connecting agency before departure to ensure there will be a ride waiting for you on the other end. Please plan to leave early and to anticipate a wait time. Many routes are behind schedule to ensure safe driving. Below is a list of connecting agencies for your convenience.

Downtown Sidewalk and Tunnel Lid Repairs- Port Townsend- Starting 02-20-2012. Jefferson Transit will continue to run as normal through the downtown corridor during the Downtown Sidewalk and Tunnel Lid Repair. 02-20-2012- Presidents Day- Administation offices at 1615 West Sims Way will be closed on Presidents Day, 02-20-2012 and will reopen on 02-21-2012. Buses, Dial A Ride and Customer Service will be open and running as normal.
WINTER WEATHER PLAN AND ROUTE DEVIATION MAPS
Sometimes the buses will need to deviate to alternate routes for inclement weather. Below is a link to our Emergency Operations Plan and links to maps of alternate snow routes for each route. A Rider Alert will be placed on this page each day by 5:30am if an alternate snow route is being used for the day.
